Arts Horizons’ Senior Program Director, Kiran Rajagopalan, recently attended a brilliant session with NYC’s Commissioner of Cultural Affairs, Laurie Cumbo. During her candid conversation, she discussed the importance of “enriching the academic experience with cultural programing” to enable “New York City residents to live more artful lives.” This can only be achieved through universal access to cultural programming for “students at every school.” The event was thoughtfully organized by NYC Arts in Education Roundtable to celebrate National Arts in Education Week.
