Special Event

On Tuesday, May 13, 2025, Arts Horizons will host a specialty curated evening of music, dance, interactive theater, and art exhibits at the stunning Barrymore Film Center in Fort Lee, NJ.

This event is more than just a celebration. It is a chance to support our mission of uplifting communities through the arts by providing programs to over 250,000 people of all ages and abilities in underserved communities.

Performers will include Wincey Terry-Bryant, a vibrant powerhouse singer with a resilient creative edge.  She has worked with industry giants including Spike Lee and Tina Turner. The Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company, a leading force in creating innovative cultural experiences, will also perform. This award-winning company has received numerous honors from institutions such as Lincoln Center and the Joyce Theater.

: Tickets are $50 and are available through Eventbrite.

​​VIP tickets: VIP Tickets are available for $500. Meet the Honorees

The event will celebrate three remarkable honorees, highlighting their significant contribution to Arts Horizons.


John Devol Teaching Artist Award

Ramzi El-Edlibi will receive the John Devol teaching artist award for celebrating over 30 years committment to Arts Horizons, extraordinary talent, and service to the public.

The New York Partnership Award

We present this award to New York City's Hospital Schoos Program, a truly exceptional organization which serves children's educational needs while hospitalized.  Our teaching artists feel honored to help each child during this difficult time and we appreciate that Hospital Schools sees the value of the arts. Principal Mary Maher will accept the award.


The New Jersey Partnership Award

Art Ed Newark is an alliance of and for arts education champions.  Arts Horizons is proud to partner with Arts Ed Newark and strategic stakeholders to advocate for high-quality arts education equity for the entire city of Newark. Ms. Lauren Meehan, Director, will accept the award.

Parking: The Barrymore Film Center is located steps from the George Washington Bridge. Parking is available across from the Barrymore Film Center at Hudson Lights Parking Garage, 245 Park Ave, Fort Lee, NJ.
