Thank You, Kiran

  • May 1, 2024

In a major transition, we send a heartfelt farewell to our Senior Program Director, Kiran Rajagopalan, after seven fulfilling years at Arts Horizons. Kiran has brought exceptional grace to inspire meaningful partnerships and culturally responsive educational content. He is an artful leader, professional Bharatanatyam dancer, educator and trusted figurehead for staff, artists, and partners. Kiran has been instrumental in countless initiatives with AH. We celebrate his gift for program design with highlights including Central Asian Art and Culture through Storytelling , unique field trips, and the popular family workshops that united us through the arts during the pandemic.

We congratulate Kiran on the opportunity to relocate to Chicago and lead as the Executive Director of a South Asian arts organization. His last day with us will be Friday, May 3rd. Arts Horizons values providing a forum for creativity, expression and customized approaches to learning and career development for students, artists and staff alike. While he will be missed, we are thrilled to see Kiran move into this beautifully aligned role. Please join me and the entire team to commend his years of dedication to our mission driven work and wish him the very best in this new chapter of his life. We have launched a special farewell site where you can share your thoughts and sentiments.
